Flexible Schedule Systems
The program allows full-time employees, with the advance approval of
their supervisors, to adjust their work schedules. This may involve:
Adjusting the starting
time, ending time and/or length of lunch break within a workday as long
as the employee maintains a 40-hour workweek. This could include
beginning work early, taking a half-hour lunch break or leaving later.
Adjusting the number of
hours worked each day in the workweek as long as the employee maintains
a 40-hour workweek. This could include working four 9-hour days and one
4-hour day or working four 10-hour days.
Flexible Hours
Dik's Market House will
not impose flexible schedules on employees. However; employees can
fill vacant positions within a sixteen hour business day.

Depending on your desire and available positions, you are able to choose
a schedule system that works with your lifestyle.

We provide you with an exceptional training program that rewards you

training is provided by seasoned experts. We believe it is the best way
to teach someone properly rather than pass mistakes on from less
qualified personnel .

Dik's Market House has a friendly environment which keeps employees

Consumption Allowance
Full-time employees are eligible to a daily consumption allowance while
on duty and can consume foods made at Dik's Market House. Employees
cannot take unconsumed goods with them after work. This benefit is on
shift only.
Qualified Employee Discount
Employees get purchase discounts on qualified products. This benefit is
cannot be extended to anyone other than employee.
Free Parking
Ample parking is readily available and well the business establishment.
A pass will be provided to all employees requiring parking. Unlike some
companies, all employees are entitled to free parking.
Casual Dress Code
The dress code at Dik's market House is business casual. There are guide
lines that will be provided as to what is not acceptable during work
hours

Extended Health Care
Fulltime employees are eligible to extended health care
coverage for themselves and their eligible dependents after six months
of employment.
Dental Coverage
Fulltime employees are eligible to dental coverage for
themselves and their eligible dependents after six months of employment.
Part time employees are eligible to purchase dental coverage for
themselves after one year of employment.
Disability
Dik's Market House offers short term disability (STD) for all fulltime
and part time employees after 3 months of employment. Long Term
Disability (LTD) is offered to all fulltime salaried employees after 1
year of employment.
Life and Accidental Death
and Dismemberment (AD&D)
Basic Term Life insurance is available at no cost to all employees after
three months. Fulltime employees may also purchase optional term life insurance
for themselves and their eligible dependents after six months of
employment. Full time employees may also purchase Accidental Death and
Dismemberment (AD&D) for themselves after six months of employment.
Pension
Plan
Pension Plan is available to all employees after one year of employment.
The Plan allows you to save for retirement on a pre-tax basis. If you
choose to participate, you will also receive company contributions.
Group
Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
All employees are eligible to join the Group RRSP after one year of
employment.
Time Off
Dik's Market House offers paid time off for all statutory holidays.
